Another blog! I am so good at these things you guys.
I have now been married to the man of my dreams for a little over a month and...IT'S WONDERFUL! It's way better than anyone tells you. I wake up next to the greatest guy in the world. Not to say that life doesn't have it's ups and downs. There have definitely been a few adjustments. Never have I ever had to put the toilet seat down when living with any of my past roommates. That was new. Of course Nate's had his struggles as well, PMS is a very interesting, very scary thing for a man to deal with. The other day I burst into tears over tuna fish. We won't tell that story mostly because it's incredibly embarrassing. If you need to know ask Nate, I think it might have turned out to be his favorite story.
In other news I have also started a new job as an assistant enrollment counselor at Western Governors University, which sounds way cooler than it actually is, but I do get a computer to take home for my own personal use as well as work so that's a sweet deal. Nate is glad to have his computer back (mine broke so I was using his).
I am much looking forward to the summer semester being over in a few short weeks. Which for now basically means torturous study, which we all know in my world means distracting myself with things like Blogger, Pinterest, Netflix (which I totally have again!), and Facebook. It's a great world we live in. I am also looking forward to my internship starting up in August at DCFS (Department of Child and Family Services). Nate is not looking forward to school starting, but I can't say I blame him. At least there's a light at the end of the tunnel for me.
Our new ward is okay. It's weird to be in a new ward that's not a singles ward. It's a lot different. We don't have any callings yet though we did get an assignment. We are to go to the plantation branch for the month of August, which is basically the care center in our stake, and assign talks to people. We've been in the ward about a month and they're already kicking us out to another ward. We make quite the impression apparently, though I shouldn't be surprised. :)
It's been fun chatting with you friends but now I must do something actually useful. Loves ya!
