This weekend was General Conference for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, in case you didn't know that. I love GC, it's such a great time to think about where you are in life, where you want to be, set new goals, etc. It's like the new year's of Mormonism, except it happens twice a year. Which is great because I always leave GC thinking "man, that was awesome, I'm going to be so much better" and then failing all my goals three months in. Well, three more months and I go through it again so it's all good. Besides being the only way I get to where pajamas to church GC also has a way of bringing everyone's family together. I love getting to see everyone and visit and know that we are all there for the same reason and because of the same beliefs. Being Mormon is great you guys, I wouldn't trade the knowledge I have of this gospel for anything else in the world. I was bummed to find out that I have to wait another day before I can read any of the conference talks online but I can be patient. They are inspired words and I would urge everyone to go through and read them if not for the first time, read them again. I love the little pieces of Heaven that we are given here on earth and that's really what conference is - a little piece of Heaven.
